A post-capitalist novel of speculative fiction, Cryptoamnesiac follows Cosmas Redstone, a traveling Wisco-10 caretaker for the Order of Lethe, as he administers memory pruning treatments to his fellow OneGov citizens. The centuries-long peace that has followed from the development of anti-aging regimens and AI-directed scheduling software comes to an end as rival intelligences seek to make contact with forces beyond their comprehension, dropping Cosmas into a family feud de has largely forgotten.
Erik Meyer received his MFA in Creative Writing in 2008 from MSUM and has worked as a teacher in various educational institutions across the Midwest.
