Lizzy Diane began playing music at the age of 4, starting with violin and piano. In elementary school she picked up the oboe and eventually the guitar at age 13. However, her songwriting career did not begin until age 20. She became most inspired after seeing Andrew Bird in concert and gravitated toward the underground music scene in her hometown of Sheboygan, WI. Diane's subject matter most often displays dark honesty, deep human emotion, and idiosyncratic social concepts. Along with songwriting and performing, she enjoys promoting her work with her own illustrations and designs. Diane currently works and resides in Sheboygan, WI.
