The collection features short works and poems written at different points throughout Boldt’s life, most of them coming from his high school years. Ties is the culmination of five years of work and dedication. This book was inspired by a poem Boldt wrote, after which he decided to “tie” his forgotten works into one emotionally fabulous collection.
